Ingredients you'll need

For the tofu

  • 200g smoked or extra firm tofu
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp chicken spice seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • Salt to taste

For the quick salad

  • 1 cucumber
  • A handful of tomatoes
  • 1/2 bunch parsley
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt to taste

For the garlic sauce

  • 200g unsweetened vegan yogurt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of sugar

For assembly

  • 2 döner flatbreads

Let's get cookin'

  1. Peel the tofu into slices using a peeler.
  2. Add tofu slices to a pan with hot oil.
  3. Season with cumin, paprika, chicken spice, garlic powder, ground coriander, dark soy sauce, and salt.
  4. Fry for a few minutes until golden brown.
  5. For the salad: Chop cucumber, tomatoes, and parsley. Mix with lemon juice and salt.
  6. For the garlic sauce: Mix vegan yogurt, minced garlic, white wine vinegar, salt, and a pinch of sugar.
  7. Assemble the döner with flatbread, tofu, salad, and garlic sauce.
  8. Take a big bite and enjoy!
